A helping hand is something we all could use from time to time.
This is exactly what I had the pleasure and opportunity to do.
My friend Alice who is also a professional photographer asked me to give her a helping hand (as a 2nd photographer) for this very nice couple, Cami & Kenny who got married at the Crestview Counrty Club in Agawam, Ma. I accepted (with pleasure) and we had a great time photographing this couple's Winter themed wedding.
With the right location, the right lighting and the right couple, Winter weddings can be beautiful! These are just a few of the many photos that I took of this lovely couple. There were many more great ones taken by Alice from her own angle and her own perspective. You see,
the great thing about having two photographers at your wedding is that each of us have a unique vision of what photo we want to get and even though we are at the same place, photographing the same couple, at the same time, the results are different because we each incorporate our own style of photography into our work.
Alice & I worked very intuitively together and that made everything turn out right. We had a natural flow throughout the day, as if we had been working together for years. It was great!
Well, this was the last wedding of 2007 that I photographed and I just can't wait to begin the 2008 wedding season!
I have a lot of new ideas, new sources for inspiration and new skills that I can't wait to apply to this years photography.
In the meantime, I'll be brushing up on my skills, taking some new classes and keeping track of what's new in photography and technology.
To the Bride & Groom: Cami and Kenny, I want to wish you the very best! May you always find love in each others eyes, just as your photos show you did on your wedding day.
Alice, thanks very much for asking me to give you a hand. It was lots of fun and I would be delighted to work with you again in '08!
Thank you all for visiting my blog!
